Welcome to the Starlights Family!

Starting something new is exciting—and sometimes a little nerve-racking! At MJ’s Starlights Baton & Dance Studio, we welcome beginners and help each student build confidence, friendships, and skills at their own pace.

We welcome children starting at age 1 and offer one free trial class so your family can get to know us.

Your First Class

Contact us before attending so we can help you choose the right class and arrange your visit.

Come in comfortable clothing that allows easy movement, bring water, and have hair pulled back. Ask us about footwear when scheduling your trial.

Don’t have a baton yet? “Your child can borrow a baton for their first few class. When you enroll, we’ll help with sizing and order their baton through the studio.”

What age can my child start?
We welcome children starting at age 1. Contact us so we can help you find the right class for your child’s age and readiness.

Does my child need experience?
No experience is needed! Beginners are welcome, and we’ll help you find an appropriate starting point.

Can we try a class before joining?
Yes! We offer one free trial class. Email enrollment@mjsstarlights.com to arrange your visit.

Do we need to buy a baton before the first class?
No. Your child can borrow a baton for their first class. We can help you choose the correct size when you’re ready to purchase one.

What should we bring to the trial class?
Bring a water bottle and have your child wear comfortable clothing they can move in. When scheduling your visit, ask us about footwear and any class-specific needs.

What if my child needs extra support?
Please share any sensory needs, medical concerns, or other information that will help us support your child. We’re happy to discuss their needs before the first class.

Tuition 

We want families to know what to expect when joining MJ’s Starlights. Your first trial class is free, and a baton is available to borrow for that class.

Monthly Tuition

Tuition is the same for all age groups:

• Months with four Saturdays: $45

• Months with five Saturdays: $55
